Novalight was established as one of the leading companies in the Light industry in Europe. Novalight developed and manufactured high quality new lighting effects for the entertainment industry. The secret of success was without a doubt the unique partnership between lighting designer and former architect Marcello Bertini and the electronic expert Maurizio Marchiorri.

In 1988 Novalight di Bertini introduced the first Units with the brand name Novalight.

In 1990, the two companies NOVALIGHT di Bertini and ME ELECTRONICS merged to “Novalight” S.r.l. and exhibited the first time at SIB '90 in Rimini.

Novalight was based till the end of the 90’s in Avezzano/IT- and then moved to Viterbo/IT. For managing reasons the Company name was changed in the 90’s to “La Novalight” but Novalight was still used till today as brand name.

While most manufacturers in this field focused on the development of intelligent scanners, Bertini and Marchiorri produced the central effect GALAXY (Asterix) , which since then has been copied by many other manufacturers. Other innovative light effects like the "REVOLUTION", the innovative new strobe effect "ZIG-ZAG", and the stunning "DIVINE" followed. Since then the credo of Novalight is : "Not everyone invents what they produce, but we do"

Today the Company stopped the production of Classic Disco Light Effects but still produces High Quality and unique Moving Heads in Viterbo Italy. The Managing director is still Marcello Bertini while Maurizio Marchiorri has left the Company many years ago. More Infos: www.novalight.it
